When the self-leveling mode is turned on, the alarm would be activated if the level tilts more than 4 °. It would not be closed until it is in the horizontal position.
This laser level could work with a laser detector. So you could use it outdoors.
Put the level in the horizontal position.
Switch the Pulse/Outdoor mode by pressing "out" for 3s.
Or press the OD button on the remote control to switch to Pulse/Outdoor Mode.
Using the pulse/outdoor mode together with the laser detector, the working distance can be up to 200ft.
